Alps Industries Ltd has informed BSE that the Company has achieved the status of undisputed market leader with over 30 percent market share in organized sector of window covering segment, which are marketed under the brand name "Vista". Vista is the most visible brand in home furnishing segment in India and is recognized as a National brand.The company exports its products to leading retail chains across Europe and North America which are slowly recognizing India as outsourcing hub. The ready-to-use home furnishing items like bed sheets, bed covers, cushion covers, mats, table linen of the Company have gained wide acceptance in Europe and USA, particularly with its unique eco-friendly appeal brought by own-developed patented technology of application of natural dyes to textiles.The Company has been working in the area of extraction and application of natural dyes (dyes made from forest and agricultural waste as against chemical dyes) for more than a decade. The company holds patents for application methodology developed in this respect.The company has entered into an agreement for sale of technology pertaining to application of natural dyes to textiles with a South East Asian company. Under the agreement the company will provide transfer of technology and training to the personnel of the buyer for this patented application methodology of natural dyes to various textile fibers
